GHCA membership is available to all as either an individual or family membership.
Memberships are annual starting from June 1st through May 31st. A new membership runs from the date joined through May 31st of the following year.
Membership is limited by a cap that is currently set at 900 memberships.
Residents of the city of Golden may join the club at any time, regardless of the membership cap.
Active duty military personnel may join the club at any time, regardless of the membership cap.
For those who do not reside in Golden and are not on active duty, we are placing interested applicants on a waiting list.

The fine print
Memberships are available for individuals and families.
The club issues ID badges for members, partners, and children aged 16 to 18 years on June 1st. The ID badge is issued yearly.
Entry to the range is by RFID gate card. The card is issued a single time to members and their partners and upon request for children 16 to 18.
Replacement of an ID badge is $5.
Replacement of a gate entry card is $25.

Late March: Second and final major work party of the membership year

Membership Details
Memberships are either an individual or a family membership.
New membership dues are between $20 and $50 plus the initiation fee of $100.
Renewing members pay yearly dues between $20 and $50 plus the work fee of $100. Work credit can reduce the work fee.
The labor of managing and maintaining the range is done by volunteers. As a result, each membership has the option to do 4 hours (or more) of range maintainance work each membership year for full credit of the work fee on their renewal. Work credit is pro rated based on the time worked. Work should be completed prior to May 1st.
Active duty military memberships do not pay the initiation fee or work fee.
Senior membership dues are 50% off (but still pay the initiation or work fee).
The club issues ID badges and gate entry cards for members, their parter, and children age 16 to 18 years. The ID badge is issued yearly, the gate entry card is issued a single time. The gate card is issued upon request for children 16 to 18.
Replacement of an ID badge is $5. Replacement of a gate entry card is $25.

Notes
- A family membership covers a primary member, their partner, and/or dependents 18 years or younger living under the same roof. The age of a dependent is taken at the time of application or renewal (June 1st). Dependents under the age of 12 shoot for free so they can be included in individual or family membership.
- Senior memberships are available when a primary member or partner is 65 years old or older. Dues are 50% off.
- Active duty military memberships do not pay the initiation fee or work fee.
- Honorary members do not pay dues or a work/renewal fee.
- A new membership can be started at any time of year and expires on May 31st of the year after the membership was begun. Membership begun in November and December is 50% off of dues plus the full initiation fee.
- Membership renewal is due by the following June.
